Would life be better if it were a roller coaster or a ever cruising boat ride?
When asking most people this question, " do you prefer too hot or too cold" the first response is "neither" and then after much consideration would pick one of the opposites.
What most people don't realise in any situation is that you have to take the good with the bad. Uni life along side partying. Job hours along side money.
But here's the thing. Would you prefer to have the extremes or the moderate extremes?
For instance do you want your life to be just a smile and a frown everyday or insane laughter and deep depression? Like in gambling, the greater the risk factor of loosing your money, the higher the return rate.
In your relationships, is it enough just to cruise through life, finding out that you have all the same interests and every once in a while disagreeing with some small detail only to have your relationship return to its previous state of euphoria?
OR
Would you rather in your times of happiness be so illustriously filled to the brime with joy you feel like you can physically float? A state of bliss so perfect it feels like heaven. But remember you have to take the good with the bad. Sadness is no easy feat to climb. When you're sad you fall into such a deep abyss of darkness and depression, it feels like you will never escape the pain and sorrow that torments your mind and sucks your energy. A sorrow sometimes so deep it's physically debilitating.
A job offer that places you as the head of a small coorporation but knowing you shall never enter the millionaire world of donald trump?
OR
Loosing your social life and precious memories to make it to the top and into that sparkling glamourous world of no need for price tags?
It's a hard choice right? I bet you're all thinking, i want to make it to the top but i don't know if i am willing to sacrifice so much.
Lifes like that i guess hahah. The more you're willing to sacrifice the greater the return possibility. But none of us can ever be 100% sure we shall make it to the top if we tried.
Are you willing to take that risk?
